Volunteerism
The ACF Central Florida Chapter needs your help for our chapter to successfully host the 2017 Cook. Craft. Create. ACF National Convention & Show from July 9th — 13th at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. We are especially in need of volunteers on Wednesday, July 12th and Thursday, July 13th. Please check out our registration page and volunteer your time!
Competitions
The ACF Central Florida Chapter is excited to host the ACF Culinary Arts Competition—for the 21st year in a row—during the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Show held on September 10-12, 2017. This year, we have some exciting competition changes. Several ACF-Sanctioned competition favorites remain, but we have added a few new open tasting competitions to bring show attendees into the fun.
Certification

Elections
Elections for the Board of Directors of the ACF Central Florida Chapter occur every two years. The next chapter elections are this fall for the 2018-2019 term. Nominations will be open in September and voting will take place in December for the following elected positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant at Arms. Nominations are now open for these positions. Get involved with the elections—nominate a fellow chapter member today!

Free Produce Giveaway July 24th
LAKE COUNTY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Volunteers are needed in Groveland for The F.A.I.T.H. ( Feed And Instruct The Hungry) Neighborhood Community Center — 14727 Timber Village Rd. They are in need of Volunteers on the days they distribute food to the community which is Tuesday, Wednesday from 9am to 1pm and Thursday 1230 pm to 445pm.
