Green, Sustainable, Local Food Cooking Competition

The nation’s first American Culinary Federation ACF Chefs sanctioned Green, Sustainable, and Local Food Cooking competition has been scheduled for Friday, April 24th between 5:30-7:30 pm at the Artisan Alley Garage during the Farmers Market In The Artisan Alley Deland. Four professional culinarians will use ingredients from the market and primary proteins from within 100 miles of the market to be judged by two eminent ACF-certified judges.
Judge update: We are pleased to announce one of our illustrious judges for this competition. Chef Klaus Friedenreich, CMC, AAC is one of only 67 Certified Master Chefs in the United States. He is bound to raise the bar for the judging!
Competitor update: Our first two chef competitors are Chef Dustin Haney from Scratch in Winter Park and Chef Christian Markussen, CEC, CCE, ACE who was recently named the 2015 American Culinary Federation Southeast Region Chef Educator of the Year.
