4th Annual Greyt Plates Culinary Tasting Event
December 16, 2014 @ 6:30 am - 9:30 pm
A Culinary Tasting Event to Benefit
GREYHOUND PETS OF AMERICA GREATER ORLANDO
Greyhound Pets of America Greater Orlando
1260 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, 32750
After 3 successful years, Greyt Plates has outgrown its venue and will graduate to the luxurious ballroom of the Rosen Shingle Creek! Greyt Plates is becoming the must attend and participate event of the year! 20 of Orlando’s best chefs come together to showcase their culinary talents and their properties. We will again have local celebrity chefs; Emily Ellyn, Paul Joachim, and Jillian Hopke participating as well as 200+ amazing items to be bid upon in both a silent and live auction. Greyt Plates will be held on Tuesday, December 16th from 6:30pm-9:30pm.
Unlike charity events that draw thousands of people, Greyt Plates is quite intimate with only 400 guests. The amount of advertising and publicity the event receives is outstanding! We will have segments before the event on both Sunny 105.9 fm radio and Fox 35 Orlando where participating chefs will have their names mentioned on air. Numerous magazines on both the local as well as national level will receive publicity kits before and after the event. Your name and the name of your business will be mentioned.
Why do this event? GPA Orlando has a kennel that houses more than 50 retired racing greyhounds at any time. They rely entirely on donations and the money raised at Greyt Plates to offset the daily costs of housing, feeding, and medical care before being adopted into their forever homes. You can feel comfortable that 100 percent of the money raised goes not only directly for these purposes, but the effect is immediate. A number of greyhounds will be on hand to greet each guest so they know exactly where their money is going. Participating chefs enjoy the photo ops with these amazing dogs!
The majority of funds raised by Greyt Plates is due to the bidding on Silent and Live Auctions. We hope that even if you are unable to participate, you will consider donating a gift certificate or other items. We need all chefs to be confirmed by November 1st so we can include you in the media blasts.
Please contact “The Greyhound Chef” Keith R. Esbin at 813-610-9423 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to receive a participation form online.
