National Nutrition Month
In honor of National Nutrition Month, the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County is continuing their Celebrity Readers program to include “celebrity” chefs. They have asked us to reach out to our friends in the culinary community to spread the word to gain commitments from you and your colleagues to take an hour out of your busy days to read a book to 4-year olds in their VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) class during the month of March. The actual visit and reading shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes. For more information about potential sites and schedules, please contact Jerry Brady, ELCOC Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com or call 407-841-6607 x 147. Jerry will be able to work out a time and place that will be easy for you to work into your day. Thank you for taking the time to consider this request (and opportunity). Please pass it on to other chefs in your networks who may have an interest.
