Re-certification Scholarship deadline is October 31st, 2014. Current certified members, who are due to recertify within the next year, may apply. This financial hardship scholarship may be used to help pay for refresher courses and the re-certification fee. Please apply before the deadline for consideration. The October meeting features “Sweet to Savory” – a very special demonstration of Pavoni molds by a trio of exceptionally talented chefs: Executive Chef Steven Rujak (Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress), Chef Raffy Pambuan (Universal Orlando), and Executive Pastry Chef Andreas Proisl CEPC (Isleworth Country Club). Attending this demonstration earns 1 CEH.

Chefs Wanted for the 4th Annual Greyt Plates Event:
After 3 successful years, Greyt Plates – a culinary tasting event to benefit Greyhound Pets of America Greater Orlando – has outgrown its venue and will graduate to the luxurious ballroom of the Rosen Shingle Creek and will be held on Tuesday, December 16th from 6:30pm-9:30pm. 20 of Orlando’s best chefs come together to showcase their culinary talents. We will again have local celebrity chefs Emily Ellyn, Paul Joachim, and Jillian Hopke participating as well as 200+ amazing items to be bid upon in both a silent and live auction. Participating chefs will enjoy a photo op with these amazing dogs! If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact “The Greyhound Chef” Keith R.
