ACF Central Florida Chapter would like to congratulate the following chefs on their recent ACF certification.

James Messinger, CEC (Certified Executive Chef) Disney’s Contemporary Resort- Walt Disney World, Neil Christian Markussen, CEC, Jason Shenefield, CEC, and Karen Robinson, CCC (Certified Chef de Cuisine) instructors at Le Cordon Bleu Orlando elevated their ACF certification August 26th following their pratical exams at Le Cordon Bleu College for Culinary Arts Orlando. 

The ACE Evaluators who proctored the exam were Chef Reimund Pitz, CEC, CCE, AAC, ACE; Chef Marcus Herrington, CEC, ACE; Chef John Bell, CEC, ACE; and Chef Roger Newell, CEC, CCE, CCA, AAC, ACE. Also present were LCB Orlando President Joe Hardiman and Chef Klaus Friedenreich, CMC, ACE

” As a chapter we want to thank all the people at Le Cordon Bleu for their assistance, and are pleased to announce that with the cooperation of the College, we are continuing this partnership and plan to offer the practical exam every 6 months. With a testing site so centrally located, this will provide all the Professional Chefs in the Central FL area an opprotunity to take this exam in a modern and well equipped professional kitchen. It is our hope that in the near future we will also be able to offer a class in the training needed to proctor this exam, and all certified chefs will be able to take advantage of the next step in professional certification.” – Chef Roger Newell
