Three Central Florida ACF members inducted into Les Disciples d’Escoffier. 

Local ACF members honored by Escoffier society

Les Disciples d’Escoffier held their annual induction dinner July 18, 2012 at the award-winning Charley’s Steakhouse on International Drive in Orlando, honoring three local American Culinary Federation members:  Reimund Pitz, executive chef and owner, Le Coq au Vin, Orlando; Dawn Viola, executive sous chef, catering, Le Coq au Vin; and Joseph Hardiman, president, Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary arts, Orlando.

Les Disciples d’Escoffier was established in France to maintain the good name and traditions of French cuisine in memory of Auguste Escoffier, considered the pioneer of French cuisine and its culinary traditions.
